Hengeler Mueller advises Mitsubishi Pencil on the acquisition of LAMY
Frank advises both companies and investors on M&A transactions – often ones having a cross-border dimension – and in connection with restructuring situations, including distressed M&A, particularly in the automotive, banking and finance as well as real estate sectors.
Additionally, Frank has been appointed as a German notary public with office in Frankfurt am Main, where he covers the full spectrum of notarial services, focusing in particular on corporate and real estate law.
In the banking and finance sector, Frank has assisted, among other clients, the Swiss Pictet Group on its cross-border conversion and the relocation of its European bank to Germany. In the automotive sector, Frank's latest engagement was advising the Taiwanese AUO Corporation on its acquisition of Behr-Hella Thermocontrol GmbH. In restructuring matters, Frank regularly advises clients on acquisitions out of insolvency, including most recently Glencore on the acquisition of the Weser-Metall Group's business operations.
Further M&A transactions that Frank has assisted on recently include Japanese writing instrument manufacturer Mitsubishi Pencil's acquisition of LAMY and Irish building materials group CRH's divestment of its European lime operations.
