He represents clients in contract and corporate as well as in competition and insolvency law disputes before the German and European courts. He has significant experience in the worldwide strategic defense against coordinated lawsuits and class actions.

Mathäus is also an experienced party representative in arbitration proceedings. He regularly represents clients in cross-border disputes before arbitral tribunals in Germany and abroad. A particular focus of his work lies on post-M&A disputes. His clients include commercial, industrial and technology companies from Germany and abroad.
