Sonnhild advises national and international corporate clients in all collective and individual employment law matters.
She has particular expertise in the employment related aspects of M&A transactions and corporate reorganisations, negotiations with employee representatives as well as in representing clients on conciliation boards and employment litigation. Sonnhild also specialises in advising on matters concerning management board members and managing directors, and on the employment law aspects of internal investigations and compliance matters.
Her latest transactions and corporate reorganisations include advising METRO on the demerger, CRH on the acquisition of Fels from Xella, funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. on the acquisition of nursing home operator Vitanas/Pflegen & Wohnen, and Schönes Leben Gruppe on the acquisition of compassio.
Sonnhild recently represented Standard Life, Equinix and a German subsidiary of a Canadian listed company in negotiations with employee representatives and in employment related disputes. She also advised Deutsche Bank on aspects of employment law arising from the LIBOR matter.
